Macy’s says it is promoting Peter Sachse, CMO and chairman of macys.com, to Macy's chief stores officer. He replaces Ron Klein, who will retire this month. Sachse will be responsible for Macy's stores nationwide, as well as the region and district stores organization and visual merchandising, and continue to oversee its omnichannel strategy. Jeffrey Gennette, Macy's chief merchandising officer, takes on additional responsibility for overseeing marketing and macys.com.
