Confusing Is Verizon

  • Mashable, Monday, February 13, 2012 10:30 AM

“Saturday Night Live” makes fun of Verizon in this skit, which perfectly mocks the utter incomprehensibility of the wireless company’s claims, offers, devices, and networks.

You'd pretty much have to be a subscriber to IEEE Spectrum to understand what services you get with this or that device, a message elaborated in the hilarious spoof ad in which the poor customer ends up having no idea what the salesperson is even talking about.

"We run into the same problem when reviewing smartphones, especially when we’re trying to describe how fast a certain smartphone or tablet is when using 4G LTE," writes Mashable. "It’s fertile ground for deliberate confusion on the part of Verizon and other cellphone carriers, because wireless connectivity can vary from block to block, and even from room to room in your house."
