Sprint will use its partnership with the National Basketball Association to promote electronics recycling during the NBA’s All-Star weekend festivities in Orlando, Fla.
On Saturday, Feb. 18, consumers who drop off old electronics will receive two tickets to the NBA All-Star Jam Session, scheduled to take place on Feb. 23and 24. In addition, the two organizations will also work together over the year to promote recycling and reducing one’s carbon footprint.
“Sprint is excited to partner with the NBA to promote the safe disposal of electronics,” said Ralph Reid, Sprint’s vice president of corporate responsibility, in a release. “This is a great opportunity to drive awareness around the growing concerns surrounding electronic waste and for fans to recycle their used electronics responsibly.”
