While there are still plenty of people who aren’t using their tablets or smartphones to shop, those who do are avid.

A new survey from Experian’s PriceGrabber reports that 77% of consumers who own a tablet computer say they use either the tablet or their smartphone to shop, and that they make purchases often: 40% say they make such purchases a couple times a month, 23% say once a week, 20% a few times a year, and 10% say they do so daily.

On average, tablet owners have 39 apps on their mobile devices, seven of which are shopping-related.
