Pulitzer Newspapers said it had purchased the Western World, a 91-year-old weekly newspaper in Bandon, Ore. Terms of the purchase weren't disclosed. The Western World, with a circulation of 2,700,
will continue to function as a separate publication, Pulitzer said. Its news and business offices will remain in Bandon and be printed on The World's presses in Coos Bay. The transaction includes
an annual visitor guide, a telephone director, and a free daily news and advertising flier called "Coffee Break."
