In a survey of more than 1,100 college kids, Campus Entertainment reports that while brands still matter, price is critical: 91% say price is important, and 48% say they are perpetually on the lookout for bargains.
And 87% would attend a store-event if invited. While 70% say friends are the most important way they stay abreast of new fashion ideas, 63% say brands are important. The North Face, Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, Calvin Klein and Levi’s scored highest in the national sample.
