ONA Conference and Banquet Taking Place in November

The Online News Association (ONA) has announced its fourth annual conference and awards banquet will take place on November 14-15 in Evanston, Ill. The keynote speeches will be given by Tribune Publishing Company president Jack Fuller and New Republic senior editor Andrew Sullivan. "Jack Fuller heads up a company that's been one of the industry's leaders in online journalism and media convergence. Andrew Sullivan has helped demonstrate the power of independent publishing with his influential weblog at AndrewSullivan.com," said conference chair Jonathan Dube in a press release. "Coming from very different perspectives, these two speakers will offer online journalists unique insights into the future of digital media." In addition to the speeches, the ONA conference will feature panel discussions and the Online Journalism Awards ceremony, co-sponsored with the University of Southern California.
