Havas Media Acquires Ignition, Integrates With Sports & Entertainment

Havas Media this morning announced the acquisition of experiential marketing agency Ignition, and said it would be integrated with Havas Sports & Entertainment. Ignition, which is headquartered in Atlanta and New York, and has offices in London and Moscow, will help expand HS&E’s footprint to 34 offices in 20 international markets. Terms were not disclosed, but Havas Media said the acquisition is part of HS&E’s strategy to “up-weight its global brand engagement offer, particularly in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.”

Havas said Ignition will continue to be managed by its current management team, who will report to HS&E Global President-CEO Lucien Boyer.
