Bacon's Expands Broadcast-Monitoring Service

Bacon's Information has expanded its broadcast-monitoring service into the Chicago market. The new Chicago operation becomes the latest in a series of regional openings, including St. Louis, Phoenix and Indianapolis. "Chicago finally has a choice in broadcast-monitoring services," said vice president of broadcast monitoring services John Stephens in a press release. "We are committed to bringing our broadcast-monitoring clients first-rate video quality, superior client services and unparalleled speed of delivery at the best possible value." Bacon's provides coverage of more than 135 broadcast-media markets, in which more than 4,400 news and public-affairs programs are monitored every day. The company's clients can access the broadcast content either at www.bacons.com or in DVD, VHS, CD or streaming video formats. Bacon's also tracks print and Internet content.
