WWE Launches Smackin' Ad Campaign

WrestleMania XX, WWE has developed a "Smack Your TV" ad campaign to support its flagship program on network television, WWE SmackDown! The multimedia campaign will run in Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated and on AOL's online service until WrestleMania XX on Mar. 2004. Commercials will be seen on Cartoon Network's late night "Adult Swim" programming and in other programs on TNT and TBS. The "Smack Your TV" concept will also be included in all future SmackDown! radio spots. The campaign was created in-house, but the tagline, "Smack Your TV," was created by Wong Doody in Seattle. The total media support for the campaign over the next five months is more than $2 million.
