Spot Cable Giant Shakes Up Sales Team

Spot cable ad sales giant National Cable Communications Monday announced a reorganization of its sales operations, naming Gina Smith senior vice president of sales and Andrew Capone senior vice president of business development. In a related move, Andrew Ward announced plans to leave NCC at the end of the year to join Comcast Advertising Sales, one of three cable operators that own NCC. Smith was senior vice president-ad sales for NBC's Telemundo Station Group. Capone was vice president-sales and marketing for NBC's CNBC International unit.
