MetLife Adds New TV Spots to Branding Campaign

  • November 11, 2003
MetLife is adding two new television spots and two new print ads to its national brand advertising campaign - "have you met life today?" The new ads will be rotated into the campaign beginning this month as part of a comprehensive media plan that targets the 2003 Thanksgiving holiday season. The new generation of ads encourage individuals to plan for their financial futures and ensure that they will have guaranteed lifetime income in retirement. The new 30-second television spots and print ads were developed by the New York office of Young & Rubicam, which also developed the original campaign.

TV spots will appear on several network programs, including "Friends," "Law & Order," "CSI," "Alias," "60 Minutes," a Thanksgiving NFL game and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The spots also will appear on CNN and CNBC. Print ads will appear in such publications as Business Week, Forbes, Money, Smart Money, Time, U.S. News & World Report, and Sports Illustrated.
