Paris-based Havas Thursday unveiled details of a previously announced worldwide restructuring plan, which among other things, calls for media buying unit MPG to become one of the top five media
networks within a year. Havas also said MPG would continue to develop programs for its own clients as well as those of Euro RSCG Worldwide and Arnold Worldwide Partners, and would integrate
research. Arnold will concentrate its development on markets with what the company said was significant potential, particularly the United States. Euro RSCG will be strengthened as a global brand,
Havas' only globally integrated communications brand. Havas said Euro RSCG will integrate 17 new companies, including seven from specialized agencies and 10 marketing services companies from Arnold
Worldwide Partners.
