Primedia Finds ABC--Easy as 1,2,3

The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) said yesterday that 18 separate Primedia titles have committed to an ABC Subscriber Profile audit. ABC plans to publish 23 Subscriber Profile reports: 18 reflecting individual titles, and five reflecting combined or group titles. ABC's Subscriber Profile verification service is an industry-shaped initiative that defines minimum standards for direct mail-based subscriber research, then verifies that actual research studies adhere to these standards. Subscriber Profile reports are designed to be comparable with other existing industry report formats. This allows advertisers to assimilate verified print audience data alongside research findings for other key forms of media, including broadcast.
