Broadcast programming for the last Thursday in May wasn’t very gripping for viewers.
The highest-rated show of the night was a rerun of CBS' “Big Bang Theory” at 8 p.m. -- in keeping with the network’s strong viewing trend when it comes to repeat programming. “Bang” was the only show to get above a 2 rating among 18-49 viewers, with a Nielsen preliminary 2.3 rating/8 share.
Three original shows made their way -- underwhelmingly -- on the night. The season finale of Fox’s “Touch” at 9 p.m. dropped to a 1.3/5 versus the penultimate episode a week ago, which landed at a 1.7 rating.
Another two hours of ABC’s singing competition show “Duets," from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., pulled in a 1.5/5 -- down from a 1.7 rating a week ago in its premiere. A new show from CW, “Breaking Pointe,” came in with an indifferent 0.3 rating/1 share among 18-49 viewers and 986,000 overall viewers.

ABC’s 10 p.m. drama “Rookie Blue” took in identical 1.4/4 numbers to that of its week-ago premiere.
CBS averaged a 1.6/5 among 18-49 viewers on the night, taking top honors. ABC scored a 1.5/5; Fox earned a 1.3/4; Univision took a 1.2/4; NBC had a 1.2/4; and CW, a 0.3/1. CBS also won in overall viewers, with 7.4 million; followed by ABC at 5.9 million; Fox at 4.7 million; NB at 3.7 million; Univision at 2.8 million; and CW at 710,000.
"Touch" started out fantastic, but got repetitive fast. How many times can we hear Keifer raspily shout "JAKE!!!"
