U.S. Cellular Reshuffles Marketing Department

Alan Feber, chief strategy and brand officer for U.S. Cellular, is leaving the company as part of a corporate restructuring, the company announced.

In his place, Dave Kimbell, the company’s vice president of marketing, will become senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer for U.S. cellular, reporting directly to company president and CEO Mary Dillon.  The company also created vice presidential positions for business strategy and multi-channel strategy, reporting to the chief financial officer and vice president of sales and customer service. Those positions have not yet been filled.

In a release, Dillon explained that the new corporate structure, will “provide role clarity, simplify decision making and will enable us to respond more quickly to changing industry dynamics.”
