'TV Everywhere' for NBC's Summer Olympics

TV Everywhere seems to have come to NBC's upcoming summer London Olympics.

NBC says more than 100 million cable, satellite, and telco customers will now be able to access all 3,500 hours of live streaming Olympics content -- as well as 14.5 hours of pre-Olympic coverage, that of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

Cable, satellite and telco customers can verify their mobile and tablet devices when the NBC Olympics Live Extra App launches in mid-July.

As part of this effort NBCUniversal says it is starting up a first-of-its-kind marketing campaign telling consumers how to do the verification process. A TV spot began airing on cable, satellite and telco systems across the country in mid-June and will continue until the Olympics begin. It will also air as part of NBCUniversal’s Olympic cross-channel marketing efforts and on NBCOlympics.com.

Current and previous 'TV Everywhere' efforts also also cable, satellite, and telco consumers to verify there services in order to digitally access content from TV networks and other programmers.
