Veronis Suhler Stevenson has named J. Morgan Callagy, Kevin Waldman, Xiaohong Chen and David Bainbridge as Managing Directors. Callagy has been named a Managing Director of Veronis Suhler Stevenson International Limited, the firm's London-based affiliate which oversees European activities. Waldman has been named a Managing Director of the VSS Private Equity group. He joined VSS in 1996 from JP Morgan, and was promoted to Director in 1999. Chen has been appointed a Managing Director of the VSS Investment Bank. Ms. Chen's focus is on educational publishing, information and services, corporate training, and consumer books. Bainbridge joins the firm's Investment Bank as a Managing Director from Berkery Noyes, where he was a Managing Director. He will focus on professional publishing and informational healthcare services, as well as buyout fund sponsor coverage.
