Yahoo on Monday named high-profile Google executive Marissa Mayer as its new CEO, starting Tuesday, when the embattled Internet giant reports its second-quarter earnings. Ross Levinsohn had served as interim since May following the ouster of Scott Thomson over inaccuracies about his academic background. Read the full release here.
