SMG Expands Context Planning Team For P&G

Starcom MediaVest Group Friday bulked up its burgeoning contextual planning operations, hiring Katherine Persky to as the third consumer context planner for its SMG/P&G team, a unit created to service Procter & Gamble. Persky, who will serve as vice president-consumer context planning for P&G's Snacks & Beverages, Home Care and Family Care units, was director of research at Interbrand Corp. SMG now claims a team of 20 consumer context planners in its network.
