NFL Network Carries 4 Charter Advertisers to Launch of Channel

America Online, FedEx, IBM and Bayer and GlaxoSmithKline's Levitra have signed multi-year deals with NFL Network, which is scheduled to launch Nov. 4. NFL Network advertising packages will include a mix of in-program enhancements, show and segment sponsorships as well as commercial advertising during and between programs. The channel will be carried initially on DirecTV's basic service, which is available in 11.8 million homes.
