Online performance marketing providers Be Free and Commission Junction on Tuesday said they are merging their companies under the Commission Junction brand. The companies were officially merged in
December 2003 when ValueClick, Be Free's parent company, acquired Commission Junction. Be Free offers customized solutions for retailers; Commission Junction works with advertisers and web
publishers in the pay-for-performance space. ValueClick said that existing products and services are expected to remain operational and supported as the merger is completed. ValueClick's operations
include ValueClick Media, offering web, email, lead generation, and search marketing services; Commission Junction, Mediaplex, and AdWare.
