For the finale of its 100th-anniversary "Daily Twist" ad campaign, Oreo will create the last ad using real-time suggestions from social media fans.
Since June 25, Oreo has each day created a different Daily Twist ad featuring an Oreo image based on a news or pop-culture development.
The last, 100th ad will be created during a few hours on Oct. 2, from a virtual office in New York City's Times Square, using input from the brand's Twitter followers and Facebook fans.
Fans will be able to watch the ad's creation process from the social sites, and some fan suggestions will be seen live on a billboard in Times Square.
Between the first ad in June and Aug. 20, Oreo's "likes," comments and shares have increased by an average of 110%, Oreo told The New York Times.
