Streamworks to Power Live Streams on AP Video Hub

  • October 3, 2012

Streamworks International furthered its partnership with the Associated Press this week by agreeing to provide streaming services for the AP’s recently launched 24-hour live news service for digital publishers, AP Video Hub.

Streamworks has been working with the AP since September 2011, providing a raw, unedited news feed to publishers using AP Direct. The new deal sees Streamworks delivering the same content via the AP Video Hub.

The expanded partnership gives AP’s publisher customers access to real-time breaking news as well as the ability to book and schedule live coverage of planned news events on an ad-hoc basis.

Recent live footage provided by the AP includes the London 2012 Olympics, news from the civil war in Syria, and the trial in Norway of Anders Breivik.
