L.A. Times Takes Five Pulitzers

The Los Angeles Times won an impressive five Pulitzer Prizes as part of the 2004 awards announced Monday. That the second-highest number of awards ever one by a paper since the awards were first given in 1917. The New York Times won seven awards in 2002, mainly to its extraordinary coverage of the Sept. 11 2001 terrorist attacks in their impact on the New York City.
