Genius Brands International, which develops and markets the Baby Genius line of education-based products and characters, will develop  an animated television series for 6-9 year olds based on its properties. The series will be offered to broadcasters for the fall 2014 broadcast season. Suzanne Bolch and John May have been signed to create and write the
series. Their extensive credits including writing "The Magic Schoolbus" series for PBS and "Life With Derek" for Disney Disney/Family Channel. Their executive producer and creator credits include "Captain Flamingo" for YTV/Jetix and "Our Hero" for CBC.
