According to Nielsen//NetRatings, Yahoo! News attracted more unique users than any other news site during the Democratic National Convention, averaging almost 4.6 million unique users per day from
July 26-29. During that time, Yahoo! was visited by approximately 400,000 more users daily than its closest competitor. In addition, Yahoo! News attracted more than 5.1 million unique users on the
final day of the convention, and drew almost one million more unique users that night than the second most popular news site.
