Martin Smith, 42, has been named editorial director for four of American Media's weekly tabloid publications--
The Globe, The Examiner, The Sun, and
The Weekly World News. He will report
directly to Bonnie Fuller, AMI executive vice president and chief editorial director. Smith comes to AMO from a successful career as an editor in the UK. Most recently, he worked on the UK launch of
Star and
Hot Stars magazine.
