Variety: TV Social Media Chatter On Twitter Grows 800%

Instances of social media chatter about TV grew big-time this year, with an 800% upsurge on Twitter from last year, and more than double the amount last year on Facebook and in Apps, according to a Trendrr report cited in Variety. "Sponge Bob Square Pants" took honors as the TV show with the most social interactions for the second year in a row.
