Kia Googles Google For Next UVO

Kia Motors America is Googling APIs. The automaker has partnered with with ubiquitous search, content, mapping, clouding and just about everything platform for an automotive content and search-based interface for its next generation of UVO, Kia's in-vehicle infotainment/telematics platform. The new Googled UVO will first appear in the 2014 Sorento CUV. 

First up for UVO will be integration with with Google Maps and Google Places to acquire driving directions and locate Points of Interest (POIs). It also enables a Send2Car feature, where Kia owners can send a POI or destination to their car directly from the Google Maps via their Smartphone1 UVO app. It also operates a lot of functions via "Advanced Voice Recognition."
