Telemundo Taps Rosen As EVP, Ad Sales

Mike-RosenSenior Starcom MediaVest executive Mike Rosen is moving to NBCUniversal's Telemundo Media.

Rosen will be executive vice president of ad sales and integrated marketing, responsible for heading up all network, cable and digital ad sales teams for both Spanish-language networks: Telemundo and mun2.

He joins a company that boasts growing success. Telemundo says it had its best upfront season ever, with nearly 20% growth and 15 new advertisers.

At Starcom, Rosen was president of investment and activation, controlling more than $9 billion in media budgets for clients such as Kellogg, Mars/Wrigley, Samsung and Bank of America.

Before that, he was president of investment at Starcom MediaVest Group's GM Planworks. He also worked at GM Mediaworks for The Interpublic Group in media negotiations. He has also worked at Time Buying Services, J. Walter Thompson, Campbell-Mithun and NW Ayer.

Rosen will report to Jacqueline Hernandez, COO of Telemundo Media. “His ability to identify and super-serve the needs of advertisers through creative multiplatform branded media content solutions will keep Telemundo at the forefront of our industry," she stated.
