Peter Lazarus, who spent nine years at NBCUniversal and headed up Olympic sales, is rejoining the company in a top cable sales role. As senior vice
president, he will work with the USA, SyFy, Cloo and Chiller networks and WWE programming.
Lazarus left NBCU in 2006. He then worked at IMG, before moving to Univision as head of
network sales, where he managed ad sales and marketing ops for Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision. Post Univision, he teamed up with USA Today Sports.
He is not the only
ex-Univision executive now moving to NBCU. Laura Molen takes over as an executive vice president in cable sales, handling the same properties as Lazarus and adding E! and the soon-to-be Esquire
Network. Lazarus will report to her. She held a Univision role similar to his and had worked for many years at Viacom before.
Molen will report to Linda Yaccarino, who leads all NBCU
sales.
Also joining NBCU is Lou Koskovolis as a senior vice president in sports, working on golf programming on NBC cross-platform, as well as the Golf Channel. He had worked for
Major League Baseball as an SVP, corporate sales.
Katie Larkin also comes to NBCU from Turner as a senior vice president in ad sales strategy.
