Prevost, maker of high-end touring and conversion coaches, has signed a multi-year partnership that makes the manufacturer "Official Luxury Motorcoach of NASCAR."
The Greensboro, N.C.-based Volvo Group division said it builds motor homes for a number of NASCAR team owners and drivers who need a place to recline and recoup after rubber-burning on the circuit.
NASCAR will use Prevost motorcoaches this year for at-track hospitality through the NASCAR Fuel for Hospitality program, which is specifically designed for Official NASCAR Partners to provide employees and customers with a VIP race-day experience at the track. Prevost will also be joining the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council to buy and sell directly with top Fortune 500 companies.
According to a release on the deal, Prevost started working with NASCAR in the 1980s around transportation, trackside offices, and living quarters for sponsors, suppliers, and families.
