Facebook is rolling out an updated commenting system that includes threaded conversations and ranks more relevant and high-quality comments higher. According to Inside Facebook, the social network has been testing the upgraded comments functionality for pages that people can “follow” since November.
Starting next week, they’ll be available on an opt-in basis for all accounts with more than 10,000 fans or followers. The overall aim of the revamp is to increase interaction via comments with pages and public profiles and keep people sticking around longer per session on Facebook.
