Aegis Continues Expansion, Acquires Beijing Gaming Shop WonderAd

On the heels of its merger with Dentsu, Aegis this morning said it agreed to acquire Beijing Wonder Advertising Co., Ltd, a digital planning and buying agency specializing in China’s
rapidly growing online gaming industry. Based in Beijing, WonderAd also has offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen.
Aegis said WonderAd will be aligned with its Carat unit,
and that following the acquisition it will become one of the leading digital media buyers in China.
Terms were not disclosed, but WonderAd was founded in 2003 and
has a staff of more than 200.
