Lifetime To End Its, Hearst/Disney Kill TV-Branded Mag

Lifetime magazine, a joint publishing venture of Hearst Corp. and Walt Disney Co., will cease publishing following its October issue. The closure, which comes only 18 months after the magazine launched, is the latest in a series of ill-fated TV-related publishing spin-offs. Hearst and Disney have also collaborated on one of the more successful ones, ESPN magazine.
