Report: Eisner To Step Down As Disney Chief

Embattled Walt Disney Co. chief Michael Eisner plans to step down when his contract expires in September 2006, reports The Wall Street Journal. Potential candidates to succeed him include: Disney President Robert Iger, eBay chief Meg Whitman, GAP President -CEO Paul Pressler, News Corp. President-COO Peter Chernin and Time Warner entertainment and networks group Chairman Jeff Bewkes, the paper said.
