Walmart is adding another high-powered communications exec to its team, and says Dan Bartlett, 41, a senior adviser to president George W. Bush, will join the company as EVP/corporate affairs.
Most recently, he had been CEO of Hill & Knowlton. Bartlett, who reports to CEO Mike Duke, replaces Leslie Dach, the former aide to President Bill Clinton, who stepped down in March. Bartlett will oversee external communications, government relations and sustainability. He will also be in charge of its Walmart Foundation.
