Former Endemol Chief Kreiz Invests In Standard Media Index, Joins Board

Ynon Kreiz, former Chairman-CEO of independent TV producer Endemol (“Big Brother,” “Deal or No Deal,” etc.), has joined the board of directors of ad expenditure data company Standard Media Index. The appointment follows an undisclosed capital investment by Kreiz in SMI, putting him alongside earlier investors Sir Charles Allen (former CEO of ITV) and Steven Sher. Kreiz recently was named executive chairman of online video content network Maker Studios.
