The city of Santa Ana is celebrating its 127th anniversary this week with a new city newspaper.
Santa Ana Register debuts Thursday as a new weekly newspaper, available on news racks and to
Orange County Register subscribers. The community newspaper will document the living history of Santa Ana and include expanded coverage of government, local arts, schools, businesses and
events.
The Orange County Register first published as the
Santa Ana Register when the daily paper launched in November of 1905. Theresa Cisneros will serve as editor of the
Santa
Ana Register. Fourteen journalists will support the Santa Ana Register, and nearly all are bilingual.
