Lauerman Exits Salon For Start-Up

Kerry Lauerman, the editor-in-chief of Salon.com, is exiting the site after 13 years. He plans to partner with Lerer Ventures on a new start-up expected to launch this fall. It will be housed under the LV incubator Soho Tech Labs, per Politico. LV CEO and founder Ken Lerer was a co-founder of Huffington Post and currently serves as chairman of BuzzFeed and Betaworks.
