MediaPost's 2004 Creative Media Award Winners Announced

Winners were announced last night at MediaPost's 2004 Creative Media Awards at the Marriott Marquis in New York.

Yahoo! Personals' out of home campaign, "Live Julie TV," was the night's big winner. The campaign, developed by Yahoo's in house media group and MindShare, took the "Best in Show" award as well as the prize for the "out of home" category.

A total of 13 awards were presented. Other winners included:

•Fallon, which won two awards for its Virgin Mobile campaign, in both the "radio" and "media research" categories. Fallon also won for its Holiday Inn campaign in the "communications plan" category and for its Citibank campaign in the "multicultural" category. •Starlink, for its campaign for Heidelberg in the business media category. •Starcom was honored for its Miller Lite campaign in the consumer magazines category, and its effort on behalf of tech giant Sun Microsystems in the newspapers category. •MediaCom, for its Red Stripe TV campaign in the "television" category •Media Kitchen, for its Traffic campaign in the category of "new/emerging/experimental media" •MindShare, for its Sears campaign in the category of "branded entertainment/product placement/sponsorship" •Rives Carlberg, for its Houston Chronicle redesign campaign, won in the "media plan" category •KSL, for its Grey Goose campaign, won in the "creative" category, and •Napster for its campaign in the "Online" category
