Asian Entertainment Network Comes to Comcast, SF

  • October 27, 2004
While the last census put the media's attention on the growth of the Hispanic population in the United States, the Asian population is growing rapidly here as well. That's the impetus behind the creation of an Asian American multi-media entertainment company called ImaginAsian Entertainment Inc., which is unveiling its ImaginAsian TV in the San Francisco market next month.

ImaginAsian TV will be available on Comcast Channel 33, reaching all of San Francisco's 231,000 households, beginning Monday, November 1. Launched on August 30, ImaginAsian TV is the nation's first 24-hour Asian American television network.

"The availability of ImaginAsian TV on Comcast helps us to reach our goal of bringing accessible, world premiere pan-Asian programming to all Americans who are seeking the highest-quality Asian and Asian American entertainment content," said Michael Hong, CEO of ImaginAsian Entertainment.
