Google Privacy Breaches Claimed By France, Spain

The French National Commission on Computing and Freedom (CNIL) and Spanish data protection agency, La Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), have started proceedings against Google over privacy policy. CNIL ordered Google to comply with the French Data Protection Act, within three months or face fines. AEPD has accused Google of breaching five data privacy laws in Spain, punishable with fines of €40,001 to €300,000.
