Singapore Airlines is launching a consumer video contest that aims to drive brand loyalty.
The airline is inviting consumers to go to contest.flysingaporeair.com to submit their favorite things to see and do in Asia for a chance to win exclusive travel experiences.
Visitors to the site are invited to help the airline create a “best-of-the-best” video of their favorite things to see and do in Asia. They can share their favorite vacation spots, activities and memories for a chance to win. Entries are allowed once per month through Dec. 31.
The grand prize is a business class trip for two to Bali, Kota Kinabalu and Singapore, including hotel accommodations by Shangri La and the Four Seasons.
The grand prize winner and monthly call out winners will be selected by a panel of judges from Singapore Airlines staff, based on the aesthetic value and skill that they discern, in their sole discretion, in entrants' contributions.
The People's Choice award includes round-trip airfare for two to Asia. Each month, the submission with the most votes will become a finalist and eligible for the “People's Choice Voting Round.” Users will then vote between finalists to select a winner.
Each month the airline is giving away KrisFlyer Miles to one user. Visitors to the Web site are entered when they share the link to the contest or vote.
The contest was created by creative agency Managed Digital, which selected SendUs, which is the platform used to manage video submissions. The video platform enables Singapore Airlines to launch a video conversation about the brand that generates highly targeted audience responses.
