Gemstone Communications Wednesday announced plans for a national audit of Hispanic community newspapers in the U.S. The audit, which is being overseen by Gemstone's Ethnic Print Media Group (EPMG),
will include more than 70 Hispanic community papers. EPMG is a rep that handles sales for a network of 250 Hispanic community papers. The audit, which is being conducted by the Circulation
Verification Council, will also yield publication readership profiles, as well as a study of Hispanic newspaper readers across the country.
