Pheedo, an advertising technology firm for Weblog publishers and their RSS/Atom feeds, Monday released a new ad serving product that allows bloggers, micro-publishers, and larger media outlets to
insert paid ads into their RSS/Atom feeds, and track both ad and feed activity. Called SimpleAds for Feeds, the new product is a full-service ad server that manages, serves, and reports on the
performance of ads in feeds. It will also provide publishers with information about circulation size, total views, and click-through stats on content and ads. Kanoodle, a sponsored listings provider
for search results and content pages, will provide Pheedo with listings from its ContextTarget program. Pheedo will then automate the insertion of ads into syndicated content feeds.
