AKQA named Sebastian Gunnewig as director of brand strategy and planning in the agency’s San Francisco office. In his new role, Gunnewig will manage the strategy department and oversee strategic
direction across the office’s portfolio of clients. Most recently, Gunnewig served as director of brand planning at TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles, where he worked on Apple. Prior to that,
he worked for 180 in Amsterdam and Los Angeles on clients including adidas and Sony. AKQA’s current clients include Audi, Google+, Target, Jordan and Anheuser-Busch.
