The technology law-focused news site Groklaw has decided to shut down citing challenges in email privacy as its reason. Pamela Jones, the site's founder, explained in a farewell post today the she was
inspired by the closure of Lavabit, a company that provided an encrypted email service before being forced to shut down earlier this month. "There is no way to do Groklaw without email," she wrote.
"Therein lies the conundrum."
