Chem-Dry chose to partner with the foundation because breast cancer affects so many lives and is such a personal cause for many of its franchise owners and customers, who are mostly women, according to the company.
"Working in thousands of homes everyday, we see a desperate need for help, support, and above all, a cure for breast cancer," said Bill Zinke, Chem-Dry vice president of marketing, in a release. "Our fundraising makes a difference for people whose lives are devastated by this disease, and we thank our franchise owners for getting behind this program in their local communities."

Through Chem-Dry's "Cleaning for the Cause" campaign, customers can purchase their "World Famous Spot Remover" in specially
designed pink cans. Each can purchased generates an automatic $1 donation to the foundation.
Homeowners can also support the cause by scheduling a
professional cleaning with a local participating Chem-Dry franchise, which can be found by visiting the Web site's ZIP code locator and selecting a Chem-Dry with an accompanying pink ribbon icon. To
donate directly to NBCF, people can visit chemdry.com/pink.
Chem-Dry owners can also support the cause through other activities including cleaning the homes of breast cancer survivors for free and participating in local breast cancer awareness events.
